长期从事惯性约束聚变、高能量密度物理以及等离子体物理的科研工作,主要工作包括激光等离子体的光学诊断理论、方法和技术、超强激光与物质相互作用产生的超热电子的光学辐射、激光与大尺度等离子体的相互作用,激光等离子体中的输运、X射线辐射能流诊断技术、激光辐照驱动的流体力学不稳定性等。
